TRACKSIDE PRODUCTS STREET STOCK TOUR RETURNS IN 2010

Endicott, NY…Trackside Products owner Al Wilcox is pleased to announce the return of the popular southern tier street stock tour for the 2010 season. For the second season Trackside Products will return as sponsor for the Race of Champions/DART tour. The street stock events will be held at area speedways including Penn Can Speedway in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, Five Mile Point in Kirkwood, New York, and Skyline Raceway in Blodgett Mills, New York. New to the tour in 2010 is the addition of the Black Rock Speedway in Dundee, New York where two tour events will be held this season.

“We are happy to return as sponsors for the Trackside Products DART Dirt Street Stock Tour in 2010. Many of our customers are planning on running the series and we look forward to being a part of it again this year,” states Wilcox. “The first race of the series is only about a month away so we have stocked up with a full line of parts for the street stock racers including wheels and tires at our newly expanded shop here in Endicott.”

The area’s top street stock drivers will be in competition at Trackside Products Street Stock Tour events at the local speedways. Last season Rich Talada took home the championship and is expected to return to defend the title. Other top runners expected to chase the series include Butch and Rich Green, Shane Wolf, Mike Coddington, Tom Eiklor, Earl Zimmer, Denny Decker, Jon Carpenter,and Gene Sharpsteen. The generous season ending point fund is sure to attract many other competitors for the tour events.

The tour begins at the Black Rock Speedway in Dundee, New York on Friday April 9^th. The second event moves to the Penn Can Speedway on Sunday April 18^th when the Trackside Products stars will be part of the big Spring 125. Five Mile Point will play host on Sunday May 23^rd followed one week later at the Skyline Raceway on Sunday May 30^th. The remainder of the schedule includes races at Penn Can on Tuesday June 8^th, and Saturday October 16. Five Mile Point will host races on October 9^th and October 29^th with Black Rock’s final tour event scheduled for October 22^nd.
