NEP Wireless Partners with Penn Can Speedway for 602 Sportsman Events

Susquehanna, PA…Penn Can Speedway officials are pleased to announce the continuation of a great working partnership with NEP Telephone and NEP Wireless of Forest City, Pennsylvania for another season. The local telephone and wireless provider will take on title sponsorship of a unique four race series for the growing 602 Sportsman division in 2012 at Penn Can.

The four race NEP sponsored events will begin on the night of “The Can Opener” and conclude during the King of the Can Weekend. The four signature events will all feature extra distance races with an added payoff for the drivers competing. An end of the season bonus will also be presented to the driver finishing with the best finishes during the four NEP events.

Interest has been running high in the 602 Sportsman class and we look forward to a great season.”

NEP Telephone and Wireless is a family owned business located in Forest City. They have long been associated with racing in the area. For many seasons the name has appeared on the side of many of the successful teams competing at Penn Can Speedway. Most recently NEP has been sponsoring World of Outlaw Late Model driver Dan Stone of Thompson, Pennsylvania. The NEP name has also sponsored 2011 602 Sportsman champion Mike Nagel Jr.
