ALTERNATE ROUTES:

Because of the traffic backups anticipated Friday May 22^nd on Route 81, we are suggesting other routes to the track. There is construction in Scranton and again in two places north at mile marker 206 and again at mile marker 211. These will cause delays.

Coming on the PA Turnpike…At the end of the turnpike in Clarks Summit, do not get on I-81 north, instead follow the signs to Clarks Summit. This will put you on Route 11 north. Go through Clarks Summit and stay on Route 11 north through Dalton, Factoryville, Nicholson, New Milford, and Great Bend. Once through Clarks Summit, you have clear roads for thirty miles to Great Bend where you get on Route 171 to the track.

Other alternates from 81 north:

1. Take the Lenoxville exit…at the SS turn right. Go about two miles to the SS and turn left. Take this about 6 miles to Lenox and take Route 92 to Susquehanna.

2. Take the Lenox exit and then take route 92 north to Susquehanna to 171 North to the track.

 From Route 380 or 84: (Coming into Scranton)

1. Take the Casey Highway (State Route 6 east) east from Interstate 81 North (at the 81/380/6 interchange around Dunmore) to Meredith Street/Carbondale Exit 6, turn left to Business 6, turn right on Business 6 east, go through Carbondale on Business 6 to left turn on 171 north, follow 171 north to track.
